the staff were attentive. the online reservation process was quick.

the food quality was an issue. the dinner was expensive but of poor quality and highly processed. i see that the food quality was an issue a year ago, and nothing has changed.

lush garden traditional dishes treehouse experience

The staff organized a traditional Sri Lankan meal in an authentic mud house. It featured a cooking fireplace and a treehouse for spotting elephants. I walked through the lush vegetable garden (where they grow food) and ate delectable dishes. The experience included me climbing into the treehouse to drink from a king coconut.

amazing hilltop retreat!!!

attentive staff fine views

i found the staff attentive, a real plus! the views from the hilltop location are fine. the infinity pool was a pure joy, i loved the magical feel of the surrounding hills, especially with the morning mist. tuk-tuk rides to town were fun, my driver chaminda was great, he showed me lots of cool local spots!

the lack of a gym was disappointing, i would have loved to keep up with my fitness routine.

grateful stay with awesome staff

calm views friendly staff personal attention

The location has very calm views. the staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped with bags. they remembered i liked tea and always had it ready. i appreciated the personal attention. food was amazing. Chefs made snack for the road. i thank the staff for making me feel comfortable.

i have one suggestion. rooms were not large. i think management could expand rooms for a more comfortable stay. despite this, i had a great time and would come back.
